MASUKICHI is just opened at food court of Hiroshima bus center this 23rd March. MASUYAMISO, a local miso manufacturer, produced this unique restaurant. There are a lot of attractive menus here. Such as finest soup with plenty ingredients (they call this dish as Okazujiru), a set meal of fish and meat, and curry. For soup set menu, you can choose cooked brown rice or bread fermented with Koji. Side dish miso (Okazu miso) is different from normal miso paste, and it is not for soup. Eating like dressing or dipping sauce with vegetables and rice. Very new for me but it tastes great. They also have lovely sweets menus like Amazake parfait and Amazake smoothies. Amazake is fermented rice drink and taste nicely sweet even sugar is not included at all. You can takeout some menus and buy products too at the restaurant. My favorite is Dashi pack, you should try this Japanese soup stock. They say that net order for souvenir set and gift set is available at their HP. I love their menus, especially the Okazujiru is very nice. Rich miso taste and wonderful flavor of dashi harmonized very well and plenty of ingredients satisfied me much. I want to try all menus someday.
