Chef Iwasawa’s sushi making skill is second to none. The ingredients that he used that night were all very fresh. The price of the omakase course was also very reasonable (especially when compared to other top sushi restaurants in Tokyo). Overall, I would give the restaurant two thumbs up!!

Chef Hideaki Yasuo culinary skills were truly outstanding! I had the “Le menu dégustation” 2 nights ago. The course consists of smooth scrambled eggs, smoked whelk and braised lentils, the marinated mackerel, sweet potato and taro gnocchi sour cream, the mushroom soup and sweet shrimp, the sauteed sea bass with bouillabaisse sauce, beef, choice of cheese, the pear jelly and lemon verbena cream coated pear with pear sherbet, the chocolate cream and banana cream in thin chocolate cookie and Petit four. Every single dish was tasty and well presented! Overall, amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent service! #フランス料理

This restaurant serves traditional Kansai style sukiyaki. The sukiyaki set comes with roast beef appetiser and wagyu beef, vegetables and tofu...etc for the sukiyaki part. The wagyu beef was really delicious and so was the Japanese rice. It’s fair to say that this restaurant is in my top 5 best sukiyaki restaurants in the world! #すき焼き #和牛ロース

Tried out this yakitori restaurant for dinner tonight. I ordered the chikuzen course and it was absolutely amazing. The 6 assorted chicken skewers were all grilled to perfection. I was particularly impressed by the chicken wings as they were thoroughly cooked but still managed to maintain a certain level of juiciness. The broiled Japanese beef rolled with raw sea urchin and the assorted fresh vegetable sticks with original dipping sauce were both very impressive too. After I finished with the skewers, I was served a nice pot of chicken rice. It was so tasty that I ended up having 2 bowls of it. The last course before dessert was the wagyu beef cutlet sandwich. The portion was small but it was certainly a nice touch to have that as the last savoury dish of the course. Overall, a really good yakitori restaurant and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is planning for a trip to Fukuoka. #やきとり #福岡

Imahan has always been my favourite sukiyaki restaurant in Japan. No matter which one I go to, I have never been disappointed. I ordered the “Fuku” course for dinner tonight. The course consists of appetiser, warm dish, sashimi, sukiyaki, rice, soup & pickles and dessert. The beef quality was excellent as usual and when cooked with Imahan’s own sukiyaki sauce, there could only be one outcome.... heaven! The sashimi and the rice were also of very high quality.
